Mission Statement: Reality Cheque aims to make you look at the world in a different way. A weirder way – a darker way – a funnier way. We intend to do this by entertaining you, beginning with games. Change the way you see yourself; change the way you see the world.
A Brief History of Reality Cheque:
Following his escape from the test laboratories of a mad visionary geneticist/comedian, Lee Garvin exploded onto the game design scene in 1986. After the pieces were gathered up and re-assembled, he then did some actual game design, with Avalon Hill releasing his first game, Tales From The Floating Vagabond in 1991.
Since then, he has done work for West End Games, Pinnacle Entertainment Group, Alderac Entertainment Group, and Skirmisher Publishing. In 1996, Lee created a new role-playing game called Control: The Game of Absolute Corruption. This was the very first game published by Reality Cheque.
Now, the Reality Cheque brand is expanding, with new games, new worlds, and new ideas.
What is Reality Cheque all about?
Reality Cheque aims to make you look at the world in a different way. A weirder way – a darker way – a funnier way.
How do you intend to do that?
By entertaining you, of course! Beginning with games, and expanding into other forms of entertainment, Reality Cheque's strange and wonderful worlds will change the way you see yourself, and if you can change yourself, you can change the world.
Change the World? Isn't that a little... ambitious?
Um, yeah, sometimes I get a little overexcited. Sorry.
You said "Games". What kind of games?
Many different kinds! Card Games, Role-Playing Games, and someday Boardgames.
Why are you going through my refrigerator?
Your door was open.
No it wasn't.
Sure it was.
I even locked it; there was a deadbolt!
Oh hey! Gotta go!
